ACTIVITIES, RESTAURANTS, & WEATHER
ACTIVITIES
We highly recommend going for a swim if the weather is nice as well as a walk in the woods,
at Cedar Point Park or the Walking Dunes—just be sure to check for ticks afterwards,
and renting a bike or a paddle board (wherever you rent from can recommend the best places to go).
For a classic Hamptons afternoon, drive out to Clam Bar or Lobster Roll and then go play mini-golf in Montauk.
The sculpture garden at Long House is also a favorite for the gardens as much as the art.
East Hampton is somewhat boring, but Amagansett Square is a nice place to sit outside and Sag Harbor is a cute town to walk around in the afternoon,
with local stores, restuarants, and a good bookshop (Sag Harbor Books).

BEACHES
Most East Hampton Village Beaches require a resident permit to park between 9am - 5pm. We suggest finding nearby street parking and walking from there. Both Main Beach and 2 Mile Hollow allow non-residents to buy daily parking permits through their ParkMobile app.
There is also a free shuttle service that will take you from East Hampton town to Main Beach.
There are 2 bay beaches where you can park without permits:
Northwest Harbor Beach on Northwest Landing Road and the beach at Cedar Point Park on Cedar Point Road.
Our favorite bay beaches (where the water is warmer & calm, and you can easily walk from roadside parking) are:
The Walking Dunes (on Napeague Harbor Road), Louse Point, and Gerard Drive beach.

WEATHER
It’s still too early to know what the weather will be in mid-June,
but we are estimating it will be about 70-75 degrees Farenheit (21-23 degrees Celsius) during the day,
dropping down to about 55-60 degrees Farenheit (13-16 degrees Celsius) at night.
The breeze off the ocean can be quite damp and cool, so we suggest a sweater or jacket for the evening.
The ceremony will be outside if weather permits, so please bring shoes that can work on gravel and grass.
We’ll add more details here as we get closer to the day!
